| Paulette Barnes - vocalist
Paulette is equally at home singing jazz or R&B. She grew up singing in the gospel church, and brings this influence to everything she sings. As a featured vocalist with the Mark Templeton Group, Paulette has perfomed at the Fowoods Resort Casino, as well as functions for Connecticut Governor John Rowland. In 1999 she appeared at a fundraising Christmas concert for the Connecticut Junior Republic. Recently Mark Templeton began recording a number of arrangements for orchestra and big band, featuring Miss Barnes. The songs range from swing standards like "Makin' Whoopee","I Cried For You" and "Route 66" to ballads such as "At Last" and "I'll Never Stop Loving You". Her style is reminiscent of Dinah Washington and Nancy Wilson among others, but she has her own sound and approach.
